LSU found itself down big at halftime to Georgia in the SEC Championship game, 35-10.

The Tigers, however, are trying to get back in the game early in the 3rd quarter.

After recovering a Bulldogs fumble, LSU backup QB Garrett Nussmeier connected with Malik Nabers on a 34-yard TD pass to cut the lead to 35-17.

The 6-2, 194-pound Nussmeier started the 2nd half for the Tigers in place of Jayden Daniels, who was clearly hobbled in the 1st half by the ankle injury he sustained in the regular season finale at LSU.

After a defensive stop, Nussmeier delivered on another long completion and is now 3-for-4 for 113 yards and a touchdown in the game thus far.
