This offseason, the Green Bay Packers signed former LSU DL Ricky Jean Francois to a one-year contract.

However, after the first game of the year, the team released him. Then, less than a month later, he re-signed with the Packers.

On Wednesday, though, the Packers once again released the veteran lineman after he had appeared in five more games for the squad, recording two tackles.

Jean Francois has played for four teams in his nine-year career, and will now look for a fifth.

The former seventh-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers has recorded 94 tackles and 12 sacks in 115 career games.

Jean Francois was a part of the LSU team that won the national championship back in 2007 and was selected in the 2009 NFL Draft.

He has played for the 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins and Packers.
