Greg McElroy explains why LSU won't be able to hang with Alabama
The Alabama Crimson Tide opened as a 14-point favorite for their top-five matchup against LSU on Saturday night.
The Crimson Tide offense has been outstanding this year, but so has LSU’s defense, and the game will take place in Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
On Monday afternoon, SEC Network analyst (and former Alabama QB) Greg McElroy joined “The Paul Finebaum Show” and said he doesn’t think the Tigers have the firepower offensively to keep pace with the Tide:
"LSU doesn't have the firepower offensively…the only way to beat Alabama is to match their offense blow-for-blow" – @GregMcElroy pic.twitter.com/c5mXrgiMkk

Tua Tagovailoa has been torching every Alabama opponent this year, but the Tide haven’t faced a secondary like LSU’s.
We’ll see if Tagovailoa and the high-powered offense can continue to shine in Death Valley, or if the Tigers manage to pull off the big upset.
