For the first time in his NFL career, Jeremy Hill is on the move.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the former LSU tailback will sign with the New England Patriots:

Hill was a free agent after he spent the first 4 years of his NFL career in Cincinnati.

The former first-team All-SEC selection had a solid NFL career so far with 2,873 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns. He scored at least 9 rushing touchdowns in each of his first three seasons in the NFL after the Bengals picked him in the second round of the 2014 draft.

An ankle injury cut Hill’s 2017 season short, but he was already passed up on the depth chart by rookie Joe Mixon.

Hill will get a fresh start in New England, where he’ll share a backfield with James White and Rex Burkhead.
