Jaray Jenkins, one of LSU’s top wide receivers this season, has announced plans for the Citrus Bowl and next season.

Jenkins was the third-best receiver by yards with 27 catches for 404 yards, but led the team with 6 receiving touchdowns. Jenkins thanked those who supported him, but said he’s off to the NFL Draft. He said he would not play in the bowl game and pursue his dreams of playing in the NFL.

“To my coaching staff, thank you. You have pushed me to be my best daily, on and off the field. Thank you for the opportunity to live out my childhood dream of playing for and representing the state of Louisiana at LSU. It’s bigger than football. My time at LSU has been everything I dreamed and prayed it would be,” Jenkins wrote in a social media post.

During his LSU career, Jenkins appeared in 43 games with 20 starts, and made 89 receptions for 1,370 yards and 14 touchdowns.
