Javien Toviano, elite 2023 CB from Texas, announces SEC commitment

Javien Toviano is headed east to play in the SEC West. The blue-chip defensive back from Arlington, Texas announced his commitment to LSU on Thursday.
During his recruitment, Toviano picked up 34 scholarship offers. Ahead of Thursday’s commitment ceremony, he had narrowed it down to a final 5 of LSU, Georgia, Michigan, Texas and Texas A&M. Toviano’s ceremony was streamed live on YouTube.
Toviano is motivated to be part of “DBU.”

Toviano, a Martin standout, is listed at 6-feet, 185 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, he is rated 4-stars, No. 6 cornerback, No. 9 Lone Star State recruit and No. 58 prospect overall in the 2023 recruiting class.
