Coming off a year in which he was a huge part of LSU’s championship-winning defense, LB Patrick Queen was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Now, as he prepares for his rookie season, there’s a chance he could be in the starting lineup from Week 1.

During a call this week, Ravens coach John Harbaugh discussed what he likes about Queen and Round 3 LB Malik Harrison (via BaltimoreRavens.com):

“Let [Queen] use his speed and instincts to run around and make plays in all three phases, be a three-down guy both in our base package and sub package,” Harbaugh said. “Those two guys (Queen and Malik Harrison) will be kind of roaming in there at those two linebacker spots … and we’ll see just how much playing time they earn. We expect them to play a lot of football this year. We’re really fired up about those two guys.”

Queen had 85 tackles (12 for a loss), 3 sacks and 1 interception for LSU in 2019.

How much playing time will he get this fall? It sounds like Harbaugh likes what he sees so far.
