LSU standout wide receiver Kayshon Boutte seems to have had a change of heart.

After previously announcing he was returning to the Tigers for next year earlier this month, Boutte announced Wednesday that he was declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft. That news come son the heels of the announcement that he had opted out of the Citrus Bowl.

“After careful thoughts and consideration, I will be declaring for the 2023 NFL DRAFT,” Boutte tweeted this week.

With this, Boutte ends the 2022 season with 48 receptions for 538 yards with 2 touchdowns after dealing with some injury issues. There has always been a lot of intrigue surrounding Butte’s upside at LSU, especially since he spent the majority of his time there in the fold with elite talents like Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson.

He ends out his time there with 131 catches for 1,782 yards and 16 touchdowns.
