Kirk Cousins isn’t able to play alongside Justin Jefferson right now, but the franchise quarterback is still connected with the Minnesota Vikings.
Ahead of Sunday’s Christmas Eve contest, Cousins was seen serving as the ultimate hype man for the Vikings and Jefferson. Sporting a massive boombox and all, Cousins pumped up Jefferson before the wide receiver’s introduction.

Cousins remains sidelined with a torn Achilles sustained early in the season. Jefferson has also dealt with the injury bug but is coming off his best performance since early October with 7 catches and 84 yards in last week’s loss for Minnesota.
The reaction to the interaction between the two teammates was expected. It’s an awesome scene for the two star players, even if Cousins is unable to suit up and deliver the ball on the field.
