Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette was selected with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The star runner was the first running back off the board and will join the AFC South squad this fall.

After walking on stage to hug commissioner Roger Goodell, Fournette made his way to the media tent where he spoke about his big night at a post-draft press conference.

Here’s what the ex-Tiger had to say about the next phase of his football career:

On what getting the call from the Jaguars was like:

“My heart skipped a little bit, man. I didn’t know I’d go so early — one of the best phone calls I’ve gotten in my life.”

On how he’ll fit in with Jacksonville:

“Anything the team needs, I’m willing to do it.”

On watching former LSU teammate Jamal Adams go to the Jets two picks later:

“It’s very exciting. He made me better as a player.”

On handling the expectations that have been place on him his entire career:

“It’s not pressure — I think I’m built for that. It doesn’t bother me.”
