Former LSU coach Les Miles has remained engaged in college football even though he’s not on the sidelines, and recently was on the set of SEC Now to give his perspective on the Tigers’ game with BYU.

He said the Cougars have the ability to throw the ball, and BYU is a talented team, but warned, “they’re in trouble.”

“I have to be honest with you,” said Miles, who recruited a large portion of LSU’s roster. “That LSU team is very athletic and will come after you and play physical. I love the two coordinators that (Ed Orgeron) has made sure are there.”

Miles also shared his experience in dealing with games that were displaced because of weather-related events and natural disasters, and the communication and management of players’ reactions to family members’ predicaments that goes along with it.

The LSU-BYU game, originally scheduled to be played in Houston, was moved to New Orleans following the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
