LSU announces Saturday’s guest picker for ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ in Baton Rouge
The 1988 movie “Everybody’s All-American” had game scenes that were filmed in LSU’s Tiger Stadium. Now, one of the film’s stars will be back on campus on Saturday.
LSU announced on Friday that actor John Goodman will be the celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay, which is set to air live in Baton Rouge ahead of the Tigers’ game against Florida.
Goodman lives in New Orleans with his wife, Annabeth, who is a Louisiana native.
The Tigers made the announcement with a teaser video featuring Goodman:

There was a previous report that stated New Orleans Pelicans rookie forward Zion Williamson would be the guest picker, but that turned out not to be the case.
It’s sure to be an electric atmosphere in Baton Rouge on Saturday, as LSU is getting set for a huge SEC matchup. The No. 5 Tigers are hosting the No. 7 Gators in a battle of undefeated teams from the conference.
With College GameDay airing early in the day and LSU-Florida kicking off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, it will be an exciting day for Tigers fans in the national spotlight.
