There will be no Joe Burrow behind center for defending national champion LSU as it opens play at Death Valley against Mike Leach and Mississippi State on Saturday.

That’s not at all to say that the No. 6 Tigers will be completely devoid of talent, though. With a host of All-SEC media picks including offensive lineman Ed Ingram, wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. and defensive backs Derek Stingley Jr. and Jacoby Stevens, LSU hopes that the Myles Brennan era gets off to a flying start in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers’ social media department is doing its part in getting fans ready for kickoff. On Thursday evening, it unveiled a nearly 2-minute hype video featuring Brennan, linebacker Damone Clark and running back Chris Curry.

The Tigers and Bulldogs will get a plum afternoon start for their matchup in front of a nationwide audience. It will be the featured game of the week for the SEC on CBS, with kickoff set for 3:30pm ET.
