LSU fans serenaded by "Neck" by trumpeters in Las Vegas hotel ahead of USC game
Wherever LSU fans go, the song “Neck” seems to follow.
“Neck”, based on “Talkin’ Out Da Side of Ya Neck”, has been banned from Tiger Stadium since 2010 due to LSU fans replacing the lyrics with a highly vulgar chant.
That doesn’t mean it’s banned in other venues, though. So it shouldn’t be surprising that a pair of LSU fans pulled out their trumpets in the Mandalay Bay Sportsbook and started playing the song ahead of the Tigers’ season opener against USC at Allegiant Stadium.
Here’s the (NSFW) video below, from Louisiana sports personality Matt Moscona:
Two men brought trumpets into Mandalay Bay Sportsbook and “NECK” broke out…
If any city in the world should’ve been prepared for this, it’s Las Vegas.

While the song is officially banned, Tigers fans have an uncanny ability to perform the chant to essentially any song the Tiger Marching Band plays. We’ll see if it pops up on Sunday against the Trojans.
LSU and USC kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, with the game set to be shown on ABC.
