LSU watched the SEC Championship from home, but that didn’t stop them from moving up in Sunday’s polls. The Tigers (8-4, 4-4) moved up one spot in the final regular season AP Top 25, moving to No. 22.

In 10 years under Les Miles, the Tigers have finished ranked nine times. This year marks the lowest ranking of those nine years; LSU finished unranked in 2008. The final polls for the 2014 season will be released after the completion of the bowl games.

The Tigers will find out their bowl fate later on Sunday. Possibilities include the Belk Bowl in Charlotte, the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. and the Texas Bowl in Houston.
