The LSU Tigers picked up a big-time commitment Saturday from 4-star pass rusher Jaren Handy.

Handy, from New Augusta, Mississippi, committed to the Tigers over Alabama and Ole Miss, among others. He became the Tigers seventh overall commitment, and he boasted offers from programs around the country.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound lineman committed to LSU on Junior Day, and he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 7 SDE and the state’s No. 6 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’s also ranked in the top 100 players for the class of 2019.

LSU has a top 10 ranked 2019 recruiting class so far.
