LSU received huge news on National Signing Day, as the No. 11 safety and No. 84 overall prospect in the class of 2017 Todd Harris committed to the Tigers on ESPNU.
Harris, the Plaquemine, Louisiana native, said that it’s always been his dream to play for LSU, and he committed to the Tigers over Alabama, TCU and Arizona State.
LSU is loading up in the secondary in this recruiting cycle, and Harris joins JaCoby Stevens and Grant Delpit at safety. Cornerbacks Kary Vincent and Jontre Kirklin are also really good players, too.
LSU calls itself the SEC’s DBU, and the program is certainly boasting another talented secondary in this recruiting class.
Harris is rated as the state’s No. 3 overall prospect, according to 247Sports.
