LSU added a huge piece to its 2025 recruiting class on Thursday morning.
The Tigers have landed a commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Carius Curne. He was previously committed to Arkansas and also holds offers from programs such as Florida, Mississippi State and Tennessee, amongst others.
Here’s his announcement:

Curne is a big-time pick up for LSU in this class. He’s currently the No. 109 overall player and the No. 11 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Arkansas.
However, there seems to be some disagreement about the position Curne may play at the next level. On3 currently has him ranked as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the country for this cycle.
Whether Curne ends up as a tackle or as an interior lineman will likely be determined sometime next year after he enrolls in Baton Rouge. Curne is listed at 6-foot-4, so he has the size to play a variety of positions on the offensive line.
LSU now has 12 commits in the class of 2025. Overall, the group sits at No. 7 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Curne is already the 4th offensive lineman to commit to LSU in this cycle.
Here are some highlights from his junior season:
