LSU is going to have some major work to do to rebuild its roster under first-year head coach Brian Kelly in 2022.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that yet another key player in the LSU secondary was leaving, with this departure coming via the transfer portal.

Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, second-year DB Dwight McGlothern, a former 4-star recruit, has entered the portal and will explore his transfer options:

McGlothern played in 9 games for the Tigers in 2021, recording 32 tackles (2 for a loss), 1 interception (which he returned for a touchdown), 5 pass breakups and a forced fumble.

LSU is already losing Derek Stingley Jr., Cordale Flott and others to the 2022 NFL Draft. Eli Ricks transferred to Alabama earlier this offseason.

We’ll see who steps up to fill some starting roles in Baton Rouge this spring.
