Malik Nabers arrest update: State to drop charges if LSU WR meets 1 condition

Malik Nabers, LSU’s top receiver from the 2022 season, was arrested this week and charged with illegal carrying of a weapon.
But it seems Nabers could see his pending legal problems go away if he meets 1 condition set by the state.
Per Michael Cauble of WBRZ, the state will refuse charges on the condition that Nabers doesn’t get his gun returned to him:
I’m out of the office, but our folks at @WBRZ have been working it and it looks like Malik Nabers gun charges will be dropped as long as he doesn’t seek to retain possession of the firearm #LSU pic.twitter.com/WKuDL3CALX

We’ll see if that is indeed the route the talented LSU receiver wants to take. He was arrested late on Monday night and released from Orleans Parish Jail on Tuesday morning.
In 2022, Nabers led LSU with 72 catches for 1,017 yards. He also had 3 receiving touchdowns.
