Max Johnson and Kayshon Boutte pick up where they left off for LSU’s 1st TD of season

Max Johnson and Kayshon Boutte picked up right where they left off in 2020 for LSU’s first touchdown of the 2021 campaign.
LSU struck first against UCLA when Johnson found Boutte in the end zone from 3 yards out early in the second quarter.

UCLA has since answered with 2 scores to take a 14-7 lead in the second quarter with under 10 minutes left in the half.
In LSU’s final 2 games of the 2020 season, Boutte caught 19 passes for 416 yards and 4 touchdowns in rivalry wins over Florida and Ole Miss with Johnson as the starting QB.
The Tigers may need Johnson and Boutte to have another big game Saturday night in Pasadena.
