Daylen Austin has officially swapped away from LSU and will instead head to Oregon. The 4-star cornerback from Long Beach, California, revealed his decision on Early Signing Day.

The 6-1, 180-pound cornerback is regarded by the 247Sports composite rankings as the nation’s No. 12 cornerback, the No. 9 prospect from California, and the 109th best player in the country.

Austin initially committed to LSU on May 16 and took an official visit to Baton Rouge on Oct. 21. LSU’s Class of 2023 is ranked No. 5 nationally according to 247Sports.

Dan Lanning continues to put together an elite 2023 class at Oregon. With the Ducks also getting QB Bo Nix back for 2023, they’ll be a team to watch in the Pac-12.
