LSU freshman OL Donavaughn Campbell is from Ponchatoula, La. and he wants to make sure everyone knows just how proud he is of his home state.

Campbell was a four-star prospect according to 247Sports composite ratings and ranked the No. 8 recruit from “the boot.” His recruiting profile shows that he will be enrolled at LSU on Monday.
One day, hopefully, he’ll discover a great big wolrd out there – one much bigger than his beloved Louisana.
The Boot is the best in my opinion.
I think it’s awesome. Nothing wrong in showing a little pride. I’ve discovered a decent chunk of the world “bigger than my beloved Louisiana” and its only made me appreciate it more. Weird to read a kind of condescending comment from ETVol2003’s side of the mountain…….

Yeah, you’re probably right. It was a bit condescending and I shouldn’t have been. It just that sometimes I see a correlation between hometown/state pride and an unwillingness taste, see, appreciate and experience other places. All things considered, it is a pretty cool tattoo I must admit.
