Tre Bradford’s time with Oklahoma appears to have not lasted long.

After transferring from LSU in June, Bradford is no longer with the Oklahoma team, according to Austin Curtright of The Oklahoma Daily, who also reported that Bradford missed the Sooners’ past 2 practices. That means Oklahoma will have only 2 scholarship running backs on its roster — redshirt senior Kennedy Brooks and junior Eric Gray.

Bradford, who was entering his sophomore season, played in 5 games for LSU as a true freshman in 2020. He had 10 rushes for 58 yards and 3 receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown.

Coming out of Lancaster (Texas) High School, Bradford was a 4-star recruit in the Tigers’ 2020 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Now, it’s unclear what Bradford’s next steps will be, as there isn’t a ton of information on his current status. But that should change in the near future once it’s known why he’s no longer playing for Oklahoma.
