The Miami Dolphins already got some bad news this month when starting QB Ryan Tannehill went down with a serious knee injury.

Louisiana online sports betting is officially live in much of the state. Louisiana joined the handful of other SEC football states with legalized sports betting in January 2022.

Slater writes that the investigation stems from an incident that took place in Fort Lauderdale earlier this year, but that Landry’s girlfriend is not cooperating with the police investigation.

Landry’s girlfriend’s lawyer said there is an ongoing civil case between his client and the Miami receiver, but wouldn’t comment on the battery investigation:

“The parties are involved in what has been a very civil family court case,” her attorney said. “Beyond that, we have nothing to add.”

Dolphins head coach Adam Gase confirmed to reporters on Monday morning that the team was aware of the situation, but had no further comment.
