For the second time this offseason, LSU DB Kelvin Joseph is considering transferring from the Tigers.

Joseph originally entered his name into the NCAA’s Transfer Portal back on May 20. By May 30, however, he had removed his name, deciding to stay at LSU (for the time being). During that time, Joseph’s father told reporters that the young defensive back was staying with the Tigers.

AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, the Woj of NCAA Transfer Portal stories, tweeted Monday that Joseph is indeed back in the portal. A highly sought-after recruit in the class of 2018, Joseph was ranked the No. 42 overall prospect nationally on the 247Sports Composite. The Baton Rouge product played in 11 games last season as a freshman, logging 12 total tackles and a pass breakup.

Ed Orgeron and company would certainly like to know soon if they should plan on having Joseph in the secondary this fall or not.
