Respect: Ed Orgeron shows class to Auburn after huge win
Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers are a perfect 8-0 and are coming off a win over Auburn on Saturday afternoon.
It was a hard-fought 23-20 victory on Saturday, but after the win, Coach O was all class when speaking with the Auburn players.
As you can see below, Coach O sought out the Auburn defensive linemen to congratulate them on a strong effort against his Tigers:

Indeed, Marlon Davidson, Derrick Brown and the Auburn defensive line had a great game on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to put Auburn over the top.
Still, Saturday marked a season low in points for LSU’s offense, so at least Auburn can take that away from Baton Rouge.
Congratulations Lsu and Lsu fans on a well deserved victory and very classy of Coach O and I wish him and Lsu football team the best.
Coach O does love the DLine, and those guys are the best in the game right now. Nice move.
I still hate Auburn.
To bad Gus and his team were not classy. All about how they let one slip away..lol..ok.
AU certainly made enough of their own mistakes to lose this one. But strange to me that no one is talking about DJ Williams running out of bounds for no apparent reason likely cost AU the game… Just stay in and AU has 4 more points … Biggest play of the game in my eyes. WDE
C’mon now, let’s don’t get carried away with it. That game honestly could’ve very easily been real bad for Auburn. That 3 point difference in the score wasn’t a true indication of the game. Auburn got doubled up on yardage, with the bulk of Auburn’s entire offensive output in the game came on just 2 plays in the game.
LSU bypassed 2 chip shot FG’s, in favor of going for it on 4th down, they missed an extra point. LSU had a turnover at the goal line going in for a TD. Auburn’s first FG drive was aided 3 different times by LSU defensive penalties on 3rd downs that Auburn didn’t convert. LSU dropped several INT’s that were in their hands. LSU had one WR knock a sure TD pass away from another LSU WR. Burrow missed on 2 more passes that would’ve been TD’s on inside slants.
Auburn was lucky as hell that they didn’t get 50 or 60 hung on them in that game. Outside of the late 4th quarter TD drive Auburn had, they got completely shut down by LSU’s defense in the 2nd half.
That was by far the worst game that LSU has played this season. It was raining off & on, the field was in bad shape because of all of the rain the field had on for a couple of days straight leading up to the game. LSU had penalty after penalty in the game to the tone of 115 yards, yet even with all of that. LSU still put over 500 yards of offense on a top 10 ranked Auburn team. Burrow was 32 of 42, 320 something yards, 1 TD & 1 INT. Burrow also had 40 something yards rushing & 1 rushing TD.
LSU left a lot of points out on the field in that game, and I mean a lot. That game could’ve been real ugly for Auburn, real quick. In my opinion, LSU was never in danger of losing that game.
