Robert Griffin III released his list of Heisman trophy frontrunners Wednesday morning and has Jayden Daniels sitting alone at the top.
Daniels, LSU’s star quarterback, is flanked by Oregon’s Bo Nix (who used to play at Auburn) and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. He released his list via social media:

If LSU was a CFP contending team it’s hard to imagine there’d be any doubt for the trophy. Daniels has totaled 46 touchdowns this season, 36 passing and 10 rushing. And there are still 2 games for LSU to play.
At the same time, Daniels has thrown for 3,577 yards on72.6% completion percentage with just 4 interceptions. He’s rushed for 1,014 yards, the best on a season so far in his career.
It seems to be a 2-horse race for the trophy at the moment. Daniels and Nix have separated from the pack, with Nix gaining more and more steam with each performance.
It’ll be a tight race. Can Daniels finish strong?
