LSU may have lost its opener against Mississippi State on Saturday, but anyone that watches college football closely knows the Tigers have no shortage of talent at the wide receiver position, despite all they lost from last season’s national title run.

Junior Terrace Marshall is certainly one of those talents, and it was on full display on Saturday when he led the Tigers with eight catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns, including this one-handed masterpiece.

Marshall was asked about the catch during his media availability on Tuesday, and whether or not that is something he simulates during practice.

“Actually, whenever I’m catching after practice, I actually practice one-handed catches,” said Marshall. “Even though it wasn’t the same animation – the way I catch it – I still do practice on it.

“He grabbed my arm and I just had to go make a play.”

If LSU wants to bounce back in a big way at Vanderbilt this Saturday and compete for an SEC West title this season, Marshall may have to make a few more plays like that one.
