If you’re going to be at Saturday’s Mississippi State-LSU game at Tiger Stadium, then it likely cost you a good bit for your ticket. And if you don’t have one yet, be prepared to spend a decent amount to get in.

On Wednesday, TicketIQ shared that the average ticket price at the time for Saturday’s game was $243, a 247-percent increase from last year’s season opener at Tiger Stadium. The reason for that is clear, as the capacity for Saturday’s game will be only 25,580, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Thursday at 5:30 p.m. ET, there were still tickets available for as low as $50 via Seatgeek, but the cheapest ones available on StubHub were around $215.

No matter how much the ticket prices fluctuate leading up to Saturday, it’s clear that the exclusivity of being one of a limited number of fans in the stadium has led to an increase this season. And don’t be surprised if that continues for the rest of LSU’s home games this fall.

After going 15-0 and winning the national championship last season, the Tigers will look for more success in 2020, although it will have to come without some key players who they lost. However, LSU is still ranked No. 6 heading into the opener, and it could be poised for another strong year.

LSU is set to kick off against Mississippi State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
