Trey'Dez Green, 4-star TE out of Louisiana, announces commitment after 4 SEC finalists
Trey’Dez Green, who has offers to play football and basketball in the SEC, has announced a commitment to stay close to home.
Green, who is 6-foot-6 1/2 and 239 pounds and out of Jackson, Louisiana (East Feliciana), announced plans to play at LSU. His finalists were Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Miami. He’s the No. 3 tight end in America, and the No. 2 player in the state of Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was recruited to LSU by Joe Sloan and Jordan Arcement. He committed to LSU during his visit over the weekend for the spring game.
He averaged over 20 yards per catch as a junior, as he made 42 receptions for 864 yards and 14 touchdowns.
LSU’s class is ranked No. 4 nationally, and he explained his decision to 247Sports: “Really what made it right is just that it’s really home. I really think they have the best insight for me school wise, my academics, not just on the field.”
Louisiana sports betting is officially live in much of the state. Whether it is betting on SEC football or LSU football games or the Heisman race each year, if you live in Louisiana, you can now do it from your mobile phone.
Green added that there is a possibility he plays basketball at LSU as well.
