It isn’t much of a surprise, but star LSU RB Derrius Guice has declared for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Guice has had two great years in Baton Rouge, and will likely be one of the first running backs selected in April’s draft.

Guice announced his decision on Twitter, posting the below video to his account on Wednesday afternoon:

As a junior in 2017, Guice ran for 1,251 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also added two more scores as a receiver.

He has explosive speed and also can run over defenders who get in his way. Much like Leonard Fournette last year, Guice could have an immediate impact in the NFL.

After battling injuries this year, it makes sense for him to go pro, but he’ll always remember the time he spent at LSU.
