Florida played well on Saturday night in Baton Rouge, hanging tough with the LSU Tigers. However, at the end of the day, they came up just short in a 42-28 loss.

After the game, Florida coach Dan Mullen spoke to the media, and he had some things to say about the Tigers.

Here are a few of the comments he made about LSU and the Tiger Stadium atmosphere:

On the environment in Baton Rouge:

“Great environment. Great night of college football. That’s a lot of fun to play in those games. Obviously not a lot of fun to end up how we did.”

On the LSU offense and running game:

“They block well. I thought people really get nervous about their pass game and the matchups there, and they’re able to cover you up. Their back is pretty good. He finds seams and finds holes.”

On LSU QB Joe Burrow:

“I thought he did a good job scrambling around to extend plays, to be honest with you. But their ability to run the ball really was the big difference in the game. … He had 43 yards rushing, so he did a good job of running the ball.”
