Miami star running back Jordan Lyle continues to impress for a team that might be the best in the ACC.
Lyle, a true freshman from Fort Lauderdale who checks in at 6-foot and 190 pounds, has rushed for 233 yards and three touchdowns so far this season for the undefeated 4-0 Hurricanes.
In Miami’s Week 4 win over South Florida, Lyle covered 104 yards on just 6 carries. His best run of the day was a 91-yard scamper in the fourth quarter where – according to Reel Analytics – he hit 21.6 miles-per-hour.
And that made Lyle the fastest player in the nation this past weekend.

Lyle was a four-star recruit, ranked as the 15th best running back in his class by 247sports. He chose Miami over offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma, among others.
Miami will host Virginia Tech on Friday night.
