Mel Tucker getting shredded for extension as Michigan State is blown out at Ohio State

Mel Tucker is a having rough Saturday as his No. 7 Michigan State Spartans are getting blown out by No. 4 Ohio State. CFB Twitter is predictably hammering Tucker and MSU for the reported massive extension the coach is set to receive.

This week, it was reported that Michigan State would be extending Tucker on a 10-year, $95 million deal. MSU was seeking to lock up Tucker after reported interest from LSU and other programs with head coaching vacancies.

On Twitter, college football fans and media members are joking that Tucker is rushing to sign the contract. With Ohio State leading 35-0 with over 10 minutes left in the second quarter, the Spartans’ head coach isn’t looking like such a hot candidate.
