5-star Mississippi DE Charles Moore commits to Bulldogs for 2019
Dan Mullen just got a huge commitment for 2019.
Louisville, Miss. DE Charles Moore announced Saturday that he has committed to Mississippi State. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is rated the No. 1 Mississippi recruit, No. 3 strong-side defensive end and No. 27 recruit overall for 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. He won’t play his junior season due to injury, but MSU believes Moore will bounce back.
“It actually is like family to me and I’m at home,” Moore told Bulldawgs247. “After I got hurt they let my coaches know they they were there for me and that I still had a home that’s loyalty.
“I’m very big on loyalty.”
As a sophomore, Moore recorded 71 tackles, 21 for loss, eight sacks and 24 quarterback hurries.
He also announced his commitment on Twitter.

Moore’s highlights can be viewed below:
If he is good he is bama s. If ole miss survives the infractions he will go to ole miss. No way he goes to state I live in Louisville Ole miss runs this town.
buh?
You mean OM has plenty of boosters in place in Louisville ready to hand out cash and goodies? Yeah. How’s that plan working out? Keep up the good work. Decades of culturally ingrained cheating is going to be hard to stop, but the NCAA has shown its willingness to help. Lol.
Name one player on OM’s roster from Louisville.
Louisville is definitely more pro-Ole Miss than it is for state. That being said, Starkville is pretty pro MSU and we have two kids from there on our roster.
So you’re saying kids from a town heavily leaning toward one school might decide to sign with another?
Thanks for setting rebel1985 straight.
Barren simpson, that’s the last local who did anything meaningful at State. Starkville products seldom go to State, thought that seems to be changing, and we get a lot of kids from the oxford area. Small town kids want to stay close to home, but also want to get out. Simpson was nearly 20 years ago, and Louisville is NOT an Ole Miss town. Lousville, Ackerman, Columbus, West Point, these are towns where top player more often than not got State over Ole Miss. You don’t know anything.
As for the question, there aren’t ANY players from Lousville on OM roster.
Mute point. Ole Miss will not survive the infractions.
Newsflash guys, no one gives a damn about your stupid little rivalry outside the state of Mississippi.
You say that like MSU isn’t your rival. Geez! That dog won’t hunt.
Why would they be my rival? Haha I didn’t even go to Ole Miss. My God you people are morons
You do.
Not at all. I just like to remind State fans that there program will always be garbage. They are the worst school in the conference overall. They are a stain on a really great conference.
Is that why you stole SECond-to-none’s account? Because you don’t care?
I don’t even know who that is. I just made that name up off the top of my head before I even started reading these comments.
Lol Richard.
I’m sure of it.
Lol
