Former Michigan RB receives NCAA Clearinghouse approval to play at Mississippi State
The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a star RB in Kylin Hill, who currently leads the SEC in rushing yards.
However, their backfield depth got a big boost on Monday, as it was reported that former 4-star Michigan RB Kareem Walker had been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse.
Per 247Sports, Walker now has to go through the usual acclimation process before he’s able to practice with the team.
Walker was a redshirt freshman at Michigan in 2017, rushing 20 times for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. He redshirted in 2016. Last season, he played for Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
How will he fare in Starkville this season? We’ll see how far he can work his way up the depth chart in the coming weeks.
