Freddie Roberson, FCS transfer WR, names SEC team in final 4

Freddie Roberson is looking to take his talents to the FBS level after 5 seasons in the FCS ranks. The Eastern Washington transfer is considering using his extra year of eligibility in the SEC.

Roberson recently named his top 4 teams. Mississippi State is joined by BYU, Fresno State and Washington State. Roberson looks to be committing to his new school on Jan. 13.

Roberson first joined Eastern Washington in 2018. After redshirting his first year on campus, he played in 38 games over the next 4 seasons (2019-22). Roberson played in 10 games in 2022, recording 45 catches for 797 yards and 7 touchdowns. He had 3 catches for 33 yards and a TD at Oregon and 4 receptions for 62 yards at Florida.

In his Eastern Washington career, Roberson logged 141 receptions for 2,266 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had a rushing score in the 2020 season.
