Considering the level of competition, Mississippi State’s offense had arguably its best performance of the season last weekend against Kentucky in a 28-13 win over the Wildcats.

Joe Moorhead’s offense, with a true freshman quarterback and first-time starter Garrett Shrader, racked up 421 yards of total offense including 281 rushing yards against Mark Stoops’ Kentucky defense. Both Shrader and Kylin Hill ran for over 100 yards in the game, while the Mississippi State quarterback completed 17 of his 22 passes for 180 yards.

Following the big win, Mississippi State was featured on SEC Network program “SEC Inside” and the show features a segment of Moorhead breaking down the film and explaining how his offense successfully attacked the Kentucky defense.

Mississippi State shared that specific clip below, which is worth checking out for all Hail State fans.
