LOOK: Mississippi State fans eager to make connection between Justin Fields and Joe Moorhead

Back in 2017, 5-star QB Justin Fields was committed to Penn State, a team that had an offensive coordinator by the name of Joe Moorhead.
Fields eventually decommitted and winded up at Georgia, but on Monday, it was reported that Fields was intending to transfer from the Bulldogs’ program.
Now that Moorhead is at Mississippi State as the head coach, it has led to some speculation that Fields could be heading to Starkville to reunite with the coach that once had him as a commit.
As you can see below, that led to some excitement in the Mississippi State fanbase on Monday night:

I'm not saying anything, but he was originally committed to Penn State and Joe Moorhead. https://t.co/xfScVTiNbJ

Justin Fields will be wanted by everyone, but wonder if Miss State could be a landing spot? He originally committed to Franklin/ Moorhead at Penn State. He decommitted from the Nittony Lions in June of 2017. pic.twitter.com/BNmD1kFiMb

Please, for the love of everything holy, allow Justin Fields to find his way into Joe Moorhead’s loving arms in Starkville, Mississippi.

Other schools (like, literally, all of them) will also be in the mix for Fields, but Moorhead has some history with the talented quarterback.
