Media reacts to Mississippi State's decision to hire Mike Leach

The news is now official — Mississippi State is hiring Mike Leach to replace Joe Moorhead as head coach.

That means Leach and new Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin will square off in the Egg Bowl every year, and that has fans across the country pumped.

Media members are particularly excited about what Mississippi State’s decision means for the SEC (and SEC Media Days in Atlanta this summer).
