Mike Leach gives perfect comments about Thanksgiving Dinner plate after MSU beat ETSU

Mike Leach’s Mississippi State Bulldogs destroyed ETSU 56-7. Will Rogers had a magnificent game, throwing for 5 touchdowns and over 300 yards, and MSU’s defense allowed 154 total yards.
However, following the win over the Buccaneers, Leach wasn’t asked about his team’s win or its play; he was asked about the Egg Bowl happening on Thanksgiving. Specifically, Leach was asked if he was celebrating Thanksgiving Dinner, what would he put on his plate.
“Oh, I always make the gravy, and I do make great gravy,” Leach said. “I’m not a big cook — and I haven’t been, but I’ve made the gravy for decades. I always get white meat, a little stuffing but not too much, mash potatoes, gravy over everything. Hopefully, they have greens, which they generally don’t. Then, corn or green beans and never sweet potatoes. I like fruit pies better than any of this pumpkin apple stuff, you know.”
Leach was then asked whether he preferred cranberry sauce.
“Yes, but just a quick little droplet of it. I’m not going to get carried away with that either.”
