Mississippi State has agreed to more future games with Memphis.

Memphis announced this week that in addition to games scheduled for 2021 and 2022, the Bulldogs and Tigers will also meet in 2028 and 2029. Similar to 2021-22 games, the first game will be in Memphis (2028) and the teams will play the following year in Starkville. MSU also has a home-and-home with Texas Tech scheduled for 2028 and ’29.

Mississippi State holds a 33-11 advantage in 44 meetings between the two teams since 1951. The Bulldogs have claimed 12 in a row, including a 59-14 win in Memphis in the 2011 season. The last win for the Tigers over the Bulldogs came in 1993. The teams last played annually from 1994-2001.

MSU’s 2020 out-of-conference schedule includes New Mexico (Sept. 5) NC State (Sept. 12), Tulane (Sept. 26) and Alabama A&M (Nov. 21).
