If you follow recruiting, you know that “committed” has a different meaning to high school football players than it does to everyone else.

Gregory Brooks Jr. committed to Mississippi State on June 23, but Monday he tweeted an announcement for his signing ceremony indicating four other teams, including Arkansas, are still in the mix.

If Brooks flips his commitment, it would appear the Razorbacks are the team to watch. On 247Sports, the Arkansas is the only other team with Crystal Balls from recruiting experts predicting that is where the Harvey, La. product will sign.

Listed at 5-10, 178 pounds, Brooks is a Composite 3-star recruit rated the No. 17 Louisiana product, No. 40 cornerback and No. 386 recruit in the country.
