Mississippi State OL Darryl Williams 'doing fine' after leaving field on stretcher
Mississippi State lost to Kentucky on Saturday night, but it received a bit of good news the following morning.
Great news. Darryl Williams is doing fine. Tests were negative. He and our ath. training staff will fly back to Starkville later this AM.

Following a third-quarter field goal attempt, redshirt freshman offensive lineman Darryl Williams was taken off the field on a stretcher after lying motionless for about 10 minutes. He was transported to a local hospital, where he reportedly regained movement in his extremities.
Williams is doing fine now, according to the school’s Twitter account, and should be rejoining the team later this week. Bulldogs athletic director Scott Stricklin tweeted a thank-you Sunday afternoon to Kentucky’s medical staff for caring for Williams in a scary situation.
