Mississippi State still has a commitment from Caleb Dozier, but he’s opening his recruitment.

This comes after the Bulldogs decided to part ways with Zach Arnett after the Texas A&M loss. Greg Knox will be the interim head coach until further notice.

Dozier is a 3-star athlete out of Headland (Ala.) School via the 2024 class. The 247Sports Composite has him as the No. 106 athlete and No. 49 Alabama prospect. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds.

Mississippi State is the only SEC school to have shown interest in Dozier so far. He committed to the Bulldogs back on Apr. 10.

UAB, Coastal Carolina, Troy, UCF, Alabama State, Houston, and Georgia Southern have sent him offers. If Dozier sticks things out and heads to Starkville, he would be the first athlete from the 2024 class to commit to the Bulldogs.
