Mississippi State can extend its season with a Thursday win, but interim coach Greg Knox has the Bulldogs only focused on the last game on the schedule.
MSU dropped an intense hype video Thursday, hours before the Egg Bowl clash with Ole Miss. Knox asks the Bulldogs to give their all for the team for 1 more game.

The clip highlights some of Mississippi State’s favorite Egg Bowl memories from years past. Last year, MSU pulled off a 24-22 win in Oxford. It would be the final game coached by the late Mike Leach.
Zach Arnett was named Leach’s successor but was let go earlier this month. Knox was named the interim coach. He improved his MSU interim record to 2-0 with the Week 12 win over Southern Miss, having previously served as the interim coach for the Gator Bowl after Dan Mullen’s departure. If Knox can add an Egg Bowl win to his resume, he’s sure to be MSU’s most celebrated interim head coach.
While no one needs any extra motivation for the Egg Bowl, Knox is sure to have the Bulldogs locked in. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from Davis Wade Stadium, with the game airing on ESPN.
