It took a while, but the Mississippi State coaching staff has been getting raided the past few days. First, it was RB coach Charles Huff heading to Alabama.

Then, co-OC Luke Getsy returned to the NFL ranks with the Green Bay Packers. Now, it appears the Bulldogs are losing another assistant to the NFL.

According to a report from FootballScoop.com, MSU strength coach Anthony Piroli is expected to head to Tampa Bay to join the Buccaneers’ new coaching staff under Bruce Arians:

After serving as the strength coach for the Bulldogs back in 2014, Piroli headed off to the NFL, working with the Arizona Cardinals under Arians. In 2018, he returned to Starkville under new coach Joe Moorhead.

Now, it seems he’s reuniting with Arians in Tampa Bay, meaning the Bulldogs will be on the hunt for a new strength coach.
