SEC Nation is headed to Starkvegas. The SEC Network announced Sunday that its traveling pregame show will broadcast from Starkville ahead of Mississippi State’s rivalry clash with No. 14 LSU.

Laura Rutledge hosts “SEC Nation” in her 7th season, her 8th on the show overall, alongside Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Tim Tebow for a weekly preview of SEC football action.  The SEC Network will also feature “Marty & McGee” with Marty Smith and Ryan McGee at 9 a.m. ET live from Starkville.

Mississippi State is looking to snap a 2-game losing streak against LSU. The Tigers won last year’s meeting 31-16 in Baton Rouge and secured a 28-25 victory in 2021, the last trip to Starkville. MSU’s last win over LSU came in 2020, when the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 44-34 in Baton Rouge, giving the late Mike Leach a victory in his debut as an SEC head coach.

Both teams are coming off Week 2 wins heading into Saturday. LSU bounced back from the Week 1 loss to FSU with a 72-10 blowout win over Grambling. Mississippi State defeated Arizona 31-24 in overtime.

Saturday’s showdown will be Mississippi State’s first SEC contest under head coach Zach Arnett. The game is set for a noon ET kickoff, airing on ESPN.
