Vanderbilt-Mississippi State game moved to new time slot
The SEC is slightly adjusting its Week 7 schedule.
Vanderbilt’s game vs. Mississippi State is moving to the 3:30 p.m. ET time slot, the Commodores announced Monday morning.
The game was previously-scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. ET. The SEC Network will still carry the game.
Vanderbilt and Mississippi State are both struggling this season. The Commodores are win-less and haven’t been competitive since a 17-12 defeat against Texas A&M in Week 1.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are in a rut offensively. Mike Leach’s air raid offense has failed to produce more than 14 points since Week 1 and hasn’t scored a touchdown in two of its last three games.
Still, Vegas thinks Mississippi State will get back on track this week. Per BetMGM, the Bulldogs are currently an 18.5-point favorite over Vanderbilt.
